Our story
The name has changed. The experience remains.
GI-Fishing brings more than 15 years of fishing experience on the Zambezi River under a new brand identity. The rebrand marks a new chapter in how the business presents its services, connects with travellers, and makes fishing safaris accessible to a wider market.
Behind the GI-Fishing name is years of experience working on the river, understanding fishing locations, and organising trips for anglers. For us, the goal is straightforward: connect people with the Zambezi through fishing trips backed by experience and local river knowledge.

Naison · Lead guide
More than 15 years reading this river
Naison leads our guiding on the Zambezi. Over more than fifteen years on this water he has learned where the tigerfish hold through the day, how the river changes as levels rise and fall, and how to set up a trip so every angler — from a child on their first cast to a seasoned fisherman — has a real shot at a fish.
His approach is simple: good water, honest advice, and a day paced around you. He's as happy teaching the basics of working a lure as he is putting an experienced angler onto a trophy tiger.

How we guide
Trips built around you
Every group is different. Some come for a serious crack at a big tigerfish; others want a relaxed few hours on a beautiful river. We organise the boat, tackle and timing around what you're after, and our guides are there to help you fish — not to rush you.
Fishing is never guaranteed, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we promise is honest advice, good water, and a team that has spent years learning this stretch of the Zambezi.
